About Us

About us!

At The Blue Hoof, we're on a mission to make hoof care simple, effective, and clean. Built by horse people, for horse people, we know the struggle of battling thrush, soft soles, and funky frogs—especially in wet or muddy environments. That’s why we created The Blue Spray and The Blue Clay: fast-acting, mess-free solutions made with natural ingredients like copper sulfate, vinegar, and bentonite clay, trusted by farriers, vets, and riders across the country.

We started The Blue Hoof because we were tired of choosing between products that were either too harsh or just didn’t work. Our formulas are designed to penetrate deep, dry fast, and support a healthy hoof environment—without the mess or hassle.

Today, The Blue Hoof is a best-selling equine care brand helping thousands of horse owners find reliable, natural solutions for hoof thrush, soft soles, and frog infections. Whether you’re a weekend trail rider or a full-time competitor, we’re here to help you keep your horse’s hooves healthy, strong, and ready for anything.

Meet the Team!

Conner

The horseman at the heart of it all—our resident animal whisperer. Conner has an incredible way with animals, not just horses, and it's this natural connection that sets him apart. He began his journey in the equestrian world five years ago as a groom for hunter-jumper horses, later expanding into farriery and equine sports massage. His deep care and commitment to the well-being of the animals he works with make him an invaluable part of our team. As head of product, Conner brings a level of diligence and precision that ensures everything we create is crafted with purpose and integrity.

Rachel

After graduating from Boston University in 2019 with a Bachelor of Science from the Questrom School of Business, she gained experience at both Fortune 500 companies and small businesses in industries like real estate and media. But no matter where her career took her, she always found herself drawn back to the barn. Horses have been a constant in her life thanks to her family’s deep roots in the equestrian community. Some of her favorite moments are spent watching her sister ride and just hanging out with the horses—it’s where she feels most at home.

Sookie and Diego

Couldn't do it without these two! They are our co-CTO's (Chief Treat Officers). Their jobs consist of being cute, sleeping, and going to the horse shows. Their favorite things are bacon, pot roast, steak, and cheese!
